It hit around 3.30pm. There were strong gusts of wind and then there was a downpour.
A cumulonimbus thundercloud had been seen forming over Mallorcas Pla Plain region. It was this that brought the surprise storm. Unusual, but this sort of phenomenon can occur even when conditions are as at present – mostly cloudless skies and very settled. “,
